Maybe the most fun you can have when restoring a old car is the tear down process. Discovering the hidden gems like signatures of the installer, factory repair tags and other unique things.
#ProjectSR76 is fun to work on for those reasons.

Interesting. After I bought my ’96 C-4 I found a hidden switch under the center console. Turned it on a saw a series of small lights flash from within the gauge cover area. Discovered it was wired with a hidden front and rear radar detector/jammer array.
Chet Babcock replied: “Tim Sweet Yeah, made by Motorola. I ran the part numbers but all I can get is whatever it is has been discontinued.”
@Tim Sweet Yep, it’s still intact. Also wired for a Motorola car phone from the ’90’s. Missing the hand-set unfortunately. I have a feeling my old Vette has had an interesting life. 🙂
