The engine is a 383 magnum that was rebuilt about 9 years ago according to receipts. It is bored 0.030 and has a Edlebrock carb and intake. Motor is strong and hopefully will be reliable.
I would say go disc on the front. Safety is more important than originality I can tell you on my barracuda I left drum brakes and they are WAY under needed stopping power.
The muscle car brakes drum solution has a following, especially with the MOPAR crowd. In fact, there is some test data with a Barracuda that showed from 60MPH a 200ft to 120ft stopping distance between stock drums and muscle car brakes. If my drums could be turned, I was sold on the muscle car brake solution.
Google ‘praise dyno brakes’ and see all of the information on keeping your drums, but adding stopping power. Praise Dyno is now doing business as muscle car brakes.

Yes it is. I had the same problem when I did mine. What engine is going into it?

Hey Bill – Everything you showed in the video came as part of the conversion package?
YEP. Everything came from Dr Diff as one kit. The rotors arrived yesterday, and they are specified as “1980 Dodge Diplomat Police”.
