Ok…I never really liked the look of the original Superbird…..but I have to say….the rear of these look great. The front I could live with that.

I think this is sacrilege. The original Daytona and Superbird were purpose built just for NASCAR. Not a single item was for looks on the original cars.

This is as stupid as taking the new camaros and trying to make them look like Trans Ams.
Well, you have a point about the original Superbirds and Daytona – the add-ons weren’t well integrated and were functional and they looked it. The TransAm cars were much more subtle and functional (air scoops and ground effects) and easily translated to public buyers – especially with the graphic packages. All the retro cars are tributes – Challenger, Camaro, Mustang, now days, in one way or another. I like the Camaro Tran Am look and I like the Camaro turned in to a Firebird look!! The Dayton and Superbird in these pics look much better than the originals, would I buy one or add the package to one I owned…nope.
