Hugely collectable with many a Malibu becoming “Chevelle SS” in the 69-72 years. Beautiful car when they were angular and beautiful cars after they round them up a bit.

I remember being on the school bus going by Libery Chevrolet in Walpole, Ma. and seeing the new 64s out on the lot that one morning. Wow the 64s were cool. At that time I wondered what that other car sitting next to that new Impala was. It was so cool to me at the time, it was the now favorite silver blue. It was the 1964 Chevelle. It was just before my 13th birthday. Soon after my 16th birthday my sister got a 1967 Malibu coupe with a 283 and powerglide, yellow with a black interior. It was awesome and she let me drive it several times. The 67 was and still is my favorite of the body styles.
Great story Steve. They are great cars and it’s tough but I like the rounded versions more.
