So by now you’ve heard and mostly seen the new C7 Corvette for 2014.
I don’t think there’s been a more redesigned Vette since the 1984 C4.
5 Driving modes
7 Speed Manual transmission
99 lbs lighter than the C6
Direct Injection with push-rods in a small block
And Camaro taillights!!!
Here are some pics:
Tell me what you like and what you don’t!!

Comment: I have to admit I like the new Corvette. I thought I wouldn’t, but I do. Here is my list of likes:
1) GM protected the Corvette heritage in that the styling looks modern, and looks like a Corvette should look in the year 2014. I do not mind the ‘Camaro taillights’.
2) GM kept the Corvette recipe of a pushrod V8 up front, driving the rear wheels.
3) The interior does not look ‘overdesigned’. Excellent job!
My dislikes are:
1) I’m not so sure you need 7 speeds. Where does this come from?
2) Is this still a $66,000 car, or not? I can’t seem to get realistic price information?
3) When, or where is the convertible?
I have to credit GM with building another great ‘world class’ Corvette that will easily compete with the $350,000 cars from Europe.
