Nice! Was this plug and play, or did you have to do some ‘modifications’ to the bell housing/floorboards/etc?
Way back in 1980 my teenage neighbor buddy had a 1977 Trans Am with 455 SD and ‘super’ T10 4 speed. The car was scary fast, and I loved driving it.
For some strange reason, he could not keep throw out bearings in that trans? I personally helped change out the first three in a 1 year period. After that, I let him do it himself. I used to joke at him that the trans should be bolted in with wing nuts to make the job easier.
Hey Bill. I’ll finish up the article this weekend. But it wasn’t exactly plug and play, but no mods to the structure of the Stang. The ’65 Mustang Shelby’s T-10 came as a 25 spline and believe it or not the 3 speed was 28 spine. More coming up.
